Lezama is an important point within the Northern Way. This town marks the end of the Gernika - Lezama stage of 20.8 km and the beginning of the Lezama - Bilbao stage of 10.8 km.

In addition, to pass through this municipality when you walk the Northern Way, there are other options to visit Lezama. To get to Lezama by car, it has to be done via the Asua-Erletxes road. Another option is to use the Bizkaibus (Tel. 944 48 40 80) on your Bilbao - Larrabetzu route that counts working days with departures every hour, in both directions.

If you want to travel from Bilbao to Lezama or vice versa, we can quickly do it with the E3 metro line, also known as the Txorierri line. This line runs 15 stops from Kukullaga-Etxebarri to Lezama and is one of the most comfortable routes to and from the center of Bilbao.
