The Stages of Muxía

The easiest way to return from Muxía to other places of origin is via Santiago (76 kilometres away) or via A Coruña (92 kilometres). These two capitals have an airport and good rail connections. From Muxía it is possible to reach Santiago by bus.

The company that offers this service is Ferrín. From Muxía buses depart to Compostela from Monday to Friday, two services a day, at 06:45 and 14:30 hours. On Saturdays at 07:30 and 14:30 and on Sundays there are also two buses, one at 07:30 and another at 18:45. From Santiago to Muxía there are also two daily services. From Monday to Friday they depart at 08:45 and 16:45 hours; on Saturdays, at 09:45 and 16:45; and on Sundays at 09:45 and 18:45 hours.

To A Coruña there are also bus connections, although on this occasion the company that covers the route is Autocares Vázquez. From Monday to Friday there are two journeys a day, at 07:15 and 10:45 hours. They are not direct services and make stops in Carballo and Vimianzo. On Saturday the coach departs from Muxía at 08:30 and, on Sundays there are two services, one at 09:45 and the other at 18:10 hours. For more information see the website of the company.

Correos offers a delivery backpacks service so you can walk without loads and enjoy the routes and stages. You can also purchase a packaging and shipment of bicycles service. The price is 42,03 euros (VAT included, shipping to mainland Spain). This is available in all offices.
