In Sahagun, a town of cold winters and dry, hot summers, walkers will find basic services such as pharmacies, cash machines, a bakery, a grocery shop and a petrol station.

Pilgrims can go to the medical centre if they have blisters or other health problems. In the enclave visitors have access to information at the tourist office, situated in the same building as the municipal albergue.
