A Fonsagrada offers a good choice of catering establishments but perhaps one of the most notable is the restaurant Cantábrico. This restaurant is situated at number 18 on Avenida de Galicia, in the heart of the urban centre. In the town of A Fonsagrada there is no lack of places to eat.
The most famous for octopus (pulpo a la feria) is the establishment A Caldeira (Calle Burón, 24). Those without much time or those who prefer something lighter there are around a dozen bars in the centre that offer tapas and sandwiches. For those pilgrims sleeping in the albergue in Padron having to go to A Fonsagrada for breakfast can be a waste of time.
Not just because it adds more distance to the difficult stage that separates the town from O Cádavo, but also because the opening hours of the establishments are not adapted to the early starts of the pilgrims. It is worth however, bearing in mind that there are no catering establishments until reaching Paradavella, 14 kilometres from here.
