All necessary services are catered for here, from a health centre, post office, chemists, banks and supermarkets to sports shops and hardware shops.

 The tourist office is situated in the centre of the town (plaza de Galicia|981776666), the opening hours in summer are: Monday from 10.00 to 14.00 hours and, from Tuesday to Friday they also open in the afternoons from 16.00 until 19.30, on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11.00 to 14.00.  

Around twelve bank branches operate in the centre, the majority are concentrated close to the main central square. Novagalicia Banco (Canton de San Roque, 3); La Caixa (Porta da Vila, 3); BBVA (Cantón Claudino Pita, 5); Banco Pastor (Prateiros, 2); Banco Gallego (avenida Jesús Garcia Naveira, 9); Banco Etcheverría (Cantón Caudino Pita, 2) and Banco Caixa Geral (Plaza de Galicia, 2).  

The supermarkets and grocery shops are also situated in the centre such as, Eroski (calle Venezuela and avenida Fraga Iribarne); Froiz (carretera de Castilla, 14) and Gadis (avenida Jesús Garcia Naveria).   The sports shops of the area can be found on calle Venezuela (T.D. Oportunidades) and calle Profesor Jośe Antonio Migues (Base Todo Deporte).  

On market days, the 1st and the 16th of every month, they have market stalls in the main central square selling artisan crafts, equestrian equiptment and typical local products.
