In Frómista the hikers will find all necessary services, such as several banks, a chemist, bakery, grocery shop and, located at the exit of the enclave a service station. The pilgrims have access to a medical centre, which is open 24 hours, in case they have blisters or other minor problems. In the centre visitors can acquire information at the tourist office (Arquitecto Aníbal, tel; 979 810 180; citfromista@yahoo.es).
When staff from the tourist office are unable to attend, volunteers from the Centro de Iniciativas Touristicas de Frómista, promoters of the Camino of Santiago, deal with the task of providing information to tourists and pilgrims in the same place. This office, which provides information about the enclave and the surrounding area, opens from April to September 30th, from Tuesday to Thursday at 09.30 to 14.00 hours (in the afternoon it is managed by volunteers from the above mentioned centre) and, from
Friday to Sunday, at 09.30 to 14.00 and from 16.00 to 20.00. From the 30th of September to April the volunteers open on Saturdays and Sundays but for less hours. The pilgrim credential can be purchased at this centre and, Can also be purchased in the Church of San Pedro.
