The Stages of Los Arcos

Los Arcos is located between Estella and Viana, on the road from Logroño to France. The nearest capital is Logroño (28 kilometres) while Pamplona and Vitoria are situated at almost the same distance from the enclave (Pamplona 63 kilometres and Vitoria 65 kilometres).

Those pilgrims who want to begin their journey to Santiago here should ideally travel to Logroño or Pamplona (both cities have good rail and airport connections) and from these cities there are bus links to the town. The opposite case would apply to those wanting to make a stop at Los Arcos and return to their places of origin. They should travel to Logroño or Pamplona by bus. Another option is to travel to the neighbouring Estella by bus (the city also has good travel connections) and from here they can reach their destination.

Los Arcos is linked to Logrono, and Pamplona to Estella. There are bus services every day of the week but they run less frequently at the weekend. The most frequent bus services are between Los Arcos and Estella  although there are five services to Logroño daily and, to Pamplona, ​​four. Another possible connection by bus is with Vitoria, a route covered by the company Arriaga. The line is the Calahorra-Vitoria, departing from the Basque capital and from Calahorra. 

Finally, there is the possibility to travel to Madrid by bus. The journey takes about five hours. From Los Arcos there are two daily connections, and also from Madrid.

Los Arcos does not have a bike shop.
