The public albergue, located at the exit of the enclave, is one of the most popular on the pilgrimage route, with 106 places. It opens all year round. During its busiest periods pilgrims are allowed to camp in an area located behind the church of Santa Maria A Real do Cebreiro. In this hamlet, and contrary to what has occurred in many other Galician towns encountered further ahead on the route, it has not grown in size, due predominantly to the natural characteristics of the enclave, it does however boast private shelters and several hotels.
For next season there is the possibility of a private hostel opening, in a house situated at the entrance to the village and owned by the Valiña family. Elijah Valiña the parish priest himself had this function in mind. View all hostels See the rest of accommodation
