Of course, Pamplona offers all the services that pilgrims may require. Banks, cash machines, Chemists, supermarkets. Anything needed, can be found without a problem. The hospital and the two universities of Pamplona are three of the most prestigious institutions in Spain.
The Tourist Information Office is situated on Avenida de Roncesvalles, 4. (848420420 | oit.pamplona@navarra.es) Opening hours vary depending on the time of year. During the summer there are usually several PITs, (Tourist Information Points) placed at strategic locations throughout the city to provide information to visitors. The association of Friends of the Camino of Santiago in Navarra (La Asociación de Amigos del Camino de Santiago de Navarra) is one of the oldest and until recently also managed the Albergue Jesus and María.
They have an office in the church of San Saturnino, the ancient shelter for pilgrims in the city, located on Calle Nueva, a few meters from the Plaza Consistorial. (Info@caminodesantiagoennavarra.es | 662570716) They provide information to the pilgrims. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18.00 to 19.30.
