Traditionally it was a centre of great importance, seen as the obligatory passing place between the estuaries of Ferrol and A Coruña, also as the gateway to the natural park of As Fragas do Eume, a unique example of an Atlantic forest and garden of Galicia.
If you are traveling on the Camino de Santiago or are planning to do so soon, you should know that the distance separating Pontedeume from Santiago de Compostela is 90 kilometers.
To live the Camino you must be registered and/or logged. Take the first step and start your story!
