As a location on the Camino of Santiago and with pilgrims being the main source of economy in Sarria, they offer a rich variety of hospitality. For this reason the streets in the urban centre on the French route open early in the day, from 06.00 or 07.00 hours, to offer breakfast to Pilgrims.  These establishments are mainly located in the Calle Mayor, where the majority of albergues are situated. On the pleasant Paseo del Malecón, situated next to the river, there are a number of recommended places.
