More than 25,000 meters that collect the history of Navarra

Considered a historical treasure, the Royal and General Archive of Navarra is one of the jewels of Pamplona and of course the region of Navarra. We are talking about a place where documents dating from nothing more and nothing less than the 10th century until the end of the 80s in the 20th century are preserved.

And the Royal and General Archive of Navarra has become an exponent for those who want to enjoy the collection of some of the most important documents of our country and therefore of history. It has galleries and shelves more than 25,000 meters, thus indicating the importance of your files and documents that are kept very meticulously. 

In the place we can find several of the most important archives of the region of Navarra for centuries, but also others of a historical nature of great relevance. In addition to the archives belonging to the Kingdom of Navarra, the Royal and General Archive of Navarra holds documents that collect part of the history of the region, the different inhabitants of the region, or families that have passed through all of Navarra. 

More than 600 funds and documented collections have been recorded in the Royal and General Archive of Navarra. And it is no wonder that the place has become a source of incalculable value for all types of historians or visitors interested in the most precise and detailed history of Navarra, as well as like their culture. 

In addition, and thanks to the Open Archive, the universal dissemination of information stored in documents has been allowed; Being able to access them for free for educational use or simply take a look out of mere curiosity about Navarra's past.
