Not surprisingly (and especially in summer) there may be a lack of beds available in all the albergues, for this reason the council organises emergency accommodation, which is used to house pilgrims on a short-term basis.
In the case that this building is not sufficient, they also enable a pavilion (3 euros per night). In 2009 they even had to use a covered football pitch to accommodate pilgrims.
