Arzúa is a common stop on many of the routes that lead to Compostela: it is the last big stop before Santiago on the French Way, the Primitive Way and the Northern Way. At 39 kilometers from Santiago, the stage to Pedrouzo and the one that culminates in the cathedral feel like the anticipated end. What can you see in the Arzúas Cheese and Honey Dissemination Center

The Arzúa’s Cheese and Honey Dissemination Center is a place created to promote the consumption of these traditional products, as well as to divulge their preparation, history and relationship with Galician culture. We can make a visit that takes us through the evolution of the production of Galician honey and cheese, and culminates with a tasting.

Guided tours can be made with groups of between 15 and 25 people, to see the interpretive museum, the beekeeping library, the kitchen-laboratory, the store and the Erica Mel Cooperative, based in the center itself. It is the perfect place to get to know in depth the products with Denomination of Origin Arzúa-Ulloa and Honey from Galicia.

In addition, this center organizes workshops, talks and conferences for professionals in the sector and for cheese and honey enthusiasts and, of course, tastings. This food and wine museum is a complete visit that helps you enjoy even more such quality products as cheese and honey from Arzúa.
